What is the OrbitCD-RD70? Why this name?

The OrbitCD-RD70 is a smaller FM exciter, developed and manufactured by Sinteck Next Brazil, whose main objective is to offer the client the maximum quality to the minimun cost. The OrbitCD Series is also known as LC-LOW COST FM exciters, although for many people the quality doesn't associate with low cost due to several factors. It is still more impacting the quality/price gotten by Sinteck if we consider that the OrbitCD Series possesses some non existent peculiarities in the current market. The OrbitCD-RD70 is endowed with microcontrolleds circuits, sensors of diverse failure types and an incomparable termination. In the OrbitCD-RD70, Sinteck dares to manufacture equipments of high power in 1RU or of less than 5cm of height, the equipment has 70W RMS in just one rack unit and 3,5kg weight. If somebody wonders, like how is it possible to put an equipment of high power in just one rack unit? The answer is summarized in: TECHNOLOGY. This technology supposes the incorporation of electronic power supply systems of high efficiency that allows to reach a total efficiency of 95% by equipment, in power supply terms.

The RF output section of the OrbitCD-RD70 is composed by a modernal MOSFET called RD70HVF1 from Mitsubishi, the extension Rd70 to its name is because in this device Sinteck has used this type of transistor. The Rd70 is capable to offer more than 90W RMS output into 87,5-108,1MHz FM band.

What can the OrbitCD-RD70 do for your FM station?

In the OrbitCD-RD70 is present a stereo generator type AMDSB/SC. The stereo separation among each channel is of 65dB or more, which it guarantees a perfect stereophonic division, including for those more demanding hearings. A high 3D effect was placed to the stereo image, being quickly perceived in case that the equipment ir turned to transmit in monaural, available resource through a ST key that is located in the front panel. It is also possible the connection of an external audio multiprocessor, being hardly enough to connect it to the MPX input of the OrbitCD-RD70. After connecting it and pressing the key ST for approximately 8 seconds the audio input is transferred to the MPX connector automatically. When it is operating directly, the OrbitCD-RD70 will transmit in stereo and also limited at a pre-adjusted modulation. We should also highlight in the equipment an innovative and consistent resource: the compressor/limiter section of high quality, with which you can compress the audio signal up to 40x. The compression is carried out in a completely natural way and it is not noticed the compressor effect at all of the system, although the audio source overcomes at the 20dBs..
